Cooch Behar Municipality has always encouraged extra curricular activities among its employees and subordinates. It has been believed that the freshness of greenery and the enjoyment of mind will enrich the moral and mental bases of any human being - thus Municipality has always participated in several competitions within the territory. From time to time the Municipality has acquired success in winning various tournaments in the field of football, cricket, volleyball, table tennis, chess etc. We also conduct an annual sports day where people of the municipality will participate in various athletics and amusement competitions. We will inform more about our activities on green fields from time to time.
